Most AC calls in Islamabad start the same way. The unit is running and the fan is blowing, but the room will not cool down. Behind that one symptom there can be low gas, a dirty coil, a failing capacitor, a fan motor that has slowed down or a board that has stopped talking to the outdoor unit.
Our technician checks each of these in order before touching any part. You hear what has failed and what it will cost to fix, and only then does the repair start. Most AC repairs are done at your home in a single visit.

AC faults we fix
These are the problems Islamabad homes call about most. Each one has more than one possible cause, so the technician checks before replacing anything.
AC runs but does not cool
Usually low gas from a leak, a dirty indoor coil or a weak compressor. We check the gas pressure, find the leak before refilling and clean the coils so the AC can move heat again.
Water dripping from the indoor unit
A blocked drain pipe or a frozen coil is the usual reason. We clear the drain line, check the slope of the pipe and look for low gas, which makes the coil ice over.
Outdoor unit not starting
A failed capacitor, a burnt contactor or loose wiring stops the compressor and fan. We test each part and replace only what has failed.
Error code on the display
Inverter ACs show codes for sensor, communication and PCB faults. We read the code for your brand, test the sensors and repair or replace the board.
AC trips the breaker
A shorted compressor, a damaged wire or a breaker too small for the load will trip the supply. We find the cause so the AC runs without tripping.
Loud noise or vibration
Loose panels, a worn fan motor or a damaged fan blade make the unit rattle or hum. We tighten, balance or replace the part that is causing it.
Gas leaks and refills done the right way
A sealed AC system should never need regular gas top ups. If your AC needs gas again a few months after the last refill, there is a leak somewhere in the pipes, the flare joints or the coils, and another refill only hides it for a while.
We find the leak first, repair the joint and then pressure test the system before refilling with the gas your AC uses, such as R22, R410A or R32. Older ACs usually run on R22, while most newer inverter models use R410A or R32. Different gases should never be mixed in one system.

Inverter AC error codes
Inverter ACs check themselves constantly and show a code when something is out of range. The code usually points to a temperature sensor, the communication wire between the indoor and outdoor units, the outdoor PCB or a voltage problem.
The same code can mean different things on different brands, so tell us the brand and the code when you call. A photo of the display on WhatsApp helps the technician bring the right parts.

Voltage and your AC

How long does an AC repair take?
Most repairs such as a capacitor change, drain cleaning or a gas refill are done in one visit. PCB and compressor work can take longer, and we tell you the time before starting.
Why does my inverter AC show an error code?
The code points to a part that failed a self check, such as a sensor, the outdoor PCB or the communication wire. The meaning changes by brand, so tell us the code and the brand when you call.
Do I need a gas refill every year?
No. A sealed AC system should not lose gas. If yours needs gas again, there is a leak, and we find and repair it before refilling.
Why is water dripping from my indoor unit?
Usually a blocked drain pipe or a coil that has frozen because of low gas or a dirty filter. Switch the AC off and call us so the drain and the gas can be checked.
What should I do if my AC trips the breaker?
Leave it off after the second trip and call us. A shorted compressor, a damaged wire or a breaker too small for the load can cause it, and repeated resetting can make the damage worse.
Can you service my AC before summer?
Yes. Book a service in March or April and we wash the coils, clean the filters and drain, and check the gas and electrical parts.
